FORTRANS, Inc. was started at the request of our customers served for many years by our “less than truckload” company, FORT Transportation & Service Co., Inc. These customers had relied upon the quality and professional transportation services FORT had been providing them for over 50 years. They wanted us to extend our radius of operations and service their “truckload” needs. When our customers speak – we listen.

Thus, in 1985 FORTRANS, Inc. was born to service the truckload needs of area customers. Our service started small as we learned the needs of our customers. By listening and delivering the services needed by our customers, FORTRANS has grown. Our service area now extends to ALL 48 of the Continental United States plus the Canadian Provinces of Ontario and Quebec.
